Dinner

Had a fantastic catch up session with an ex work collegue tonight. We were just supposed to be catching up quickly but we obviously had some things to talk about. Well a coffee got changed to dinner and a drink and next thing we knew it was 9pm. Damm!

Didn't realise how much I was upset about what has been happening but it all started to pour out one after another until I stopped (lost my train of thought) and realised how unhappy I am.

Will do something about that starting tomorrow.

Also today I've was informed that I have to give back my reserved car spot at work. NOT HAPPY! I took this change in position as they wanted me to. Im loosing money, having to drive in peak hour to ge there and dont get any weekdays off work. So I also now have to hand back the XDA.

Found out that I can't unregister the push work (corporate)email to my handset so everytime someone sends me a mail i get an encrypted sms on my phone. Not good.

Tomorrow I have training for a application I know extremely little about. I had heard of the name - Novell Groupwise- but thats it. I've never used it and dont know what the diffferences are between that and exchange.

Oh well might just have to do the whole low cut shirt blonde bimbo routine to get through the day.

Have fun peeps!

Training tomorrow

Well I've been asking for training and now I've got it. Tomorrow is Day 1 of a 3 day technical training on Nokia GSM/GPRS mobile networks. Hopefully it will be good and not too hard. But hard enough that I actually learn something.

Spoke to my boy about it and he says I will be fine. I hope he is right.

I also says that I never mention him on here, so here you go. A definate listing on my blog page.

Anyway you've already gone to bed so I should follow suit.

6 weeks til I see you again.

Me xx

Sun shining down on me

One of the best things about Sydney has to be the amount of sunshine. I was in Auckland during Dec/Jan and saw perhaps 1 good day of sun. Pathetic!.

One of the great things about my place is the amount of sun. In the morning the back courtyard. Followed by the front balcony in the afternoon.

Just been out for a quick bake. Way too hot. 15 mins each side and Im done. Ding! Time to turnover and cook the other side. 15 mins later Ding! All cooked, so its off inside to put a new CD in the player (CD ended just as I came inside- well done me). Then find something to do for 45 mins.

Might go ring Mother. Is it rude to say after 45 mins,"ok I've got to go sunbake now, must dash. Bye"? Cheecky girl I know but sometimes its required.

Must dash

What a week

Well Monday whilst on the way home my brand new Alfa 147 Ti broke down. So Tuesday morning was off to the dealer. Luckily it was fixed within a few hours.

But unfortunately without a car it reduced me to using Sydney's public transport. Oh the humiliation! I am the one person who never uses public transport. Well anyway since I was there I decided to do the nice thing and assist a lady that didn't know where she was going. Luckily she was getting off at my stop so I took her to a familiar landmark so she could continue walking to her daughters house.

Wednesday my computer at work kept on having every known conflict possible. Not enough memory for this not enough for that. And support centre were not able to fix it and suggested I wait for the XP rollout. Yes thats right is 2005 and we are still waiting for the XP rollout for work PC's. They have been telling us for the past 3 years that I have been there that the Macintosh computers will be replaced by PC's and that still hasn't happened.

Thursday I was leaving to work slightly earlier than normal when I got in the lift. Selected the floor for the garage and doors closed. That was it. Nothing. Selected the floor again. Still nothing. Selected Ground floor. Nothing. Tried to open the doors. Nothing. tried to open the doors with my hands. Nothing. I was trapped. So I pressed the alarm bell and was connected to the lift company. So estimated waiting time was 20-30 mins. Hmmm what do I do for that long in a lift with no body else there. Yes that right I check my work email and send a MMS to people including my boss to let him know that I will be late. Well late twice in one week is not a good thing. Especially since I've only just started in my role and have a new National Manager of the dept. Eventually I was let out about 45 mins later. Got to work 1 hour late. Not a good look.

Friday is 23years since I started Kindergarten. AKA my little sisters 23rd birthday. Happy Birthday sweetie pie.

What a week. Lets hope that the next one will be much more boring.
